WantedDesign is New York’s premier international design destination, with two marquee events in Manhattan and Brooklyn during NYCxDESIGN. The week-long festival offers a 360-degree experience, fueling both conversation and collaboration through a wide range of programs, including interactive workshops, thought-provoking installations, and cutting-edge panels. Through the trade show, WantedDesign shines a spotlight on emerging international designers, while providing space for American designers to share their work with NYC’s creative community. Since WantedDesign’s inception, the agency designed its brand and identity system and developed the festival’s core messaging and positioning. Each year, we work with WantedDesign to evolve the brand, solidifying its positioning as the essential destination for business and culture, nurturing dialogues around design in NYC. The branding centers on the WantedDesign name, enclosed between two brackets and creating a physical space, inspiring human-centered interactions and collaboration. As for color, the bright yellow translates WantedDesign’s raw energy while evoking a feeling of warmth, creating a sense of belonging within the design community. With each year, the overall identity works to communicate WantedDesign’s forward-thinking approach, ongoing commitment to fostering connections within the international design community, and the bold energy that can be felt at the event from one year to the next. The agency created a wide variety of materials for the events, from brandmark and print collateral to digital presence, website, advertising, retail design and event-way finding. Now in its 8th year, WantedDesign has firmly established itself as a must-do on the NYCxDesign design circuit, celebrating more than 25,000 visitors between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
