Das Neue Testament als Magazin

by Neubau Editorial Design

The full text of the “New Testament” (standard translation) as a glossy magazine, artfully staged typographically, impressive large-format pictures, original infographics - for leafing through, immersing, browsing without any barriers. Central thoughts and promises of the history of God with man are raised as a treasure trove of words, core sentences are pictorially staged. This typographic masterpiece opens up a completely new approach to the Bible in a surprising way. It tempts first to leaf through and look, then to read and reflect.
The NT magazine is illustrated with 20 photographs by the artist Brigitte Maria Mayer. The masterful photographic works come from Mayer's film project "Jesus Cries". They give the biblical text a unique vitality and allow a new perspective on the life of Jesus.
The 354-page magazine in 210 x 285 mm format weighs 900 grams and impresses with its very high-quality bookbinder workmanship (Swiss brochure). Three tiptych pictures to fold out, colored edges for a better overview of the chapters, 16 special pages with infographics and a refined cover (neon color) are a few of the features that make the magazine unmistakable. The design team invested over 700 hours of work in the design.
