The CIP (Centre Interrégional de Perfectionnement) opened its doors in 1991 in Tramelan, Switzerland, and it will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2021.
Its activities are categorized into three distinct sectors: a continuing education and training center for adults, a Swiss Tourism certified hotel-restaurant complete with seminar rooms, and a cultural space including a media library that hosts a number of events and exhibitions each year.
The former logo symbolised the architecture of the building, inspired by some
of the brightest stars in the sky (Betelgeuse, Bellatrix, Rigel, Arcturus, Alnilam).
It was very complicated, and it did not correspond with the criteria for digital communication.
The new logo is the result of a great deal of consideration and creation.
The building’s complex emblematic and symbolic characteristics have been reduced to the essential. The logo maintains a connection with its heritage and its complex underlying geometry, while showcasing a revitalized, understated, emblematic brand identity designed for a digitally-based environment.
The result should enable the CIP to express its unique personality and enjoy broad visibility in order to rise to the current-day and future communication challenges that such an institution must face.
The new logo has gained the enthusiasm and approval of the establishment’s management and employees.
