A new defense technology giant on a mission to provide security by responding with speed and innovation to the needs of a complex, challenging world.
Underpinning both the approach and the solution was the notion of agility, which was woven into the intensely collaborative, consensus-building approach that we adopted as we worked closely with leadership in the critical discovery and strategy development stages of the project.
We positioned L3Harris as a catalyst for change, by staking the ground as an agile disruptor enabled by its non-traditional, flexible and globally connected structure and ability to deliver advanced solutions faster and at lower cost.
We created a central brand proposition: In a world of ever-accelerating change, threat environments move fast. L3Harris moves faster. This promise is supported by the tagline ‘Fast. Forward.’
The logo, or nexus, with its complexity and connectivity, references the world of rapid technological innovation that is the core of the L3Harris offering.
L3Harris required a visual identity befitting a powerful new player in an industry that demands interconnected and interoperable technologies to keep frontlines safe. The logo we developed speaks – particularly when animated – to fast-paced interconnectivity in a global context, and was the fulcrum around which we developed a full set of visual identity guidelines that cover everything from advertising to broadcast to tradeshows.
