The Call of The Wild

by Camryn Hezeau

A redesign of the Jack London book The Call of The wild. I wanted to combine the elements of normal pet, animal instincts and harsh landscape. I contrasted the theme of wild and normal pet with the front and the back telling two sides to Bucks story with the sled dog nature as well as his humble beginnings as a farm dog. I also wanted to set the scene of the book by bringing in a snowy texture all the way around the cover, eluding to the fact that the setting takes place in a cold harsh terrain.
