by Kent Richard

Here, in the title sequence, the rock is a representation of Desmond Doss in the film "Hacksaw Ridge" as the title sequence tells the story of the movie which was based on a real-life event. In the early part of the movie, Doss almost killed his brother which is portrayed in the first scene whereas blood is flowing on his "trail", he was filled with sins and guilt until he crosses path with god, becoming religious, and found his lover. War drawing near, Doss volunteered to join but was rejected by the others in the army for declining to kill those he has to face, refused by peers but strong-willed, he joins the war, showing casualties along the way. River of blood, Thick smokes, and such a harsh environment, the others had to retreat, except for doss, he willingly to rescue the injured back to safety at night carrying them one by one until the sun rises. Doss had to go back to the war with the army, facing through the battles over life and death, he still went forward.
