The Ohio State University Global Arts + Humanities Discovery Theme facilitates cross-disciplinary collaboration in the arts and humanities by providing support in the form of grants and fellowships. By breaking down barriers to meaningful collaboration, we create an inclusive culture that empowers faculty, staff and students to foster social change, create sustaining life-worlds and develop a global ethic of responsibility.
This die-cut brochure is our signature marketing piece, and it is a showcase for our new visual identity. The brochure is primarily used to clarify our mission and solicit new collaborators, grant applications and donor contributions. As such, we carefully designed this item to not only articulate our values in words but to also visually enact them through dynamic, layered design (that gestures to our support of cross-disciplinarity) and fun, sophisticated graphics that encourage interaction and exploration.
