KO-U is a new sake brand in Japan, which wants to assimilate into the US market. However, Japanese sake is not known in the US, and hence, KO-U is decided to have a new branding and package for matching the US customers. KO-U wants to have a modern and simple design instead of using Japanese tradition patterns/texts on the logo and the packaging in order to show the refreshing sake to the US and tell people that sake is not only for seniors and also for the young people. And KO-U wants to sale the point of mixing with the cocktails by using KO-U sake to attract more attention for the young people who want to try new things.
