State Literature Museum is an association of 12 museums of different writers. The main purpose of the project was creation of modern, original, fresh identity that could interest young generation. The project aims to attract attention to this conservative unpopular cultural institution. Another purpose was to create an identification system of different museums as a part of common graphic style.
The main feature of the identity is unification of tradition and experimentalism. Traditional serious theme and bold decision. The second feature is variability principle. The foundation of the project is accidental font that could transform into various versions.
The project includes: Cyrillic and Latin logo of the association, Cyrillic museum’s logos versions of two types of length (full version and abbreviation of writer’s names), museum’s advertising posters, event affiches of three types: excursions, lectures, exhibitions, brochure with museum’s event program, association’s newspaper, tickets and business documentation.
