I would like to introduce here below the project concept for a new visual identity for Ludovico Einaudi, a famous Italian pianist and composer.
The draft starts with a recreating of his traditional identity, in order to propose a new one with a different nature, more minimalist but – at the same time – up to date.
The purpose is to point out the importance of classic music.
The brand develops starting with an aseptic font, characterized by the omission of the letter “I” replaced by lively colors that draw viewer’s attention and give more importance to the brand itself.
The chose of the circles is due to the willingness to use geometric simple forms contrasting the linear and thin font to the simplicity and cleaning of the circle.
So all the visual identity is based on the specific use of these tre circles and their corresponding colors in each context.
